The Plastic Society

Lesson: The Plastic Society
As consumers we can influence

The Maritime Museum Aquarium’s big new temporary exhibition OUT TO SEA? is about the plastic in the world’s oceans and seas. What forces affect us as consumers of plastic? What alternatives to plastic packaging are there? How can we create sustainable consumption? Students acquaint themselves with the various interests in the plastic society. Who thinks what? Knowledge is power! We are inspired by and visit the Maritime Museum Aquarium’s big new temporary exhibition OUT TO SEA? to thereafter discuss and debate the different opinions and arguments, in the form of roleplay and assessment exercises.
