The Age of Plastic

Gothenburg, Sweden

Lesson: The Age of Plastic
Living with plastic

The Maritime Museum Aquarium’s big new temporary exhibition OUT TO SEA? is about the plastic in the world’s oceans and seas. One of the biggest environmental problems of our time. At the same time, plastic is one of our most important materials. We explain what plastic is and how different kinds of plastic have different properties. We are inspired by and visit the Maritime Museum Aquarium’s big new temporary exhibition OUT TO SEA? to thereafter further discuss the history of plastic and its place in our society today and in the future. How do we live sustainably with plastic?
